As most of you know, Tuesday night, the 30th .. we were supposed to go to the towns "Spooktacular" event and then trick-or-treating.. Well, that wasn't the case.
While we were outside waiting for the kids' grandma to arrive, Cole suddenly fell and ended up having a seizure. I'm not sure how I was able to stay clear headed enough to call 911 .. but, nevertheless, I did. The police arrived first, followed closely by the fire department and then the paramedics. Cole was loaded up into the ambulance with myself and Mehkaelie rode with her grandma. When we got to the hospital there were a series of tests done including a catscan, urine test, blood tests, etc. to rule out anything bad. All the tests came back clear. Thank God.
While we were waiting for tests and such, I managed to snap a few, 50+, pictures. I will now share with you some of those pictures... in story form.
We arrived, had a few tests run, and were settled in at about

We were in room

Mehkaelie really wanted to take care of her baby brother. She was so great through this whole thing. She really only complained once or twice when she realized we had missed the festivities. But, then she would say something so sweet, like, how she wanted Cole to be okay. She even sung songs to him. Once he was feeling better, we got a few more pictures..

He was such a brave boy. He even showed me his battle scars.

At about

we were waiting for the results from the tests, and I took a shot of the view from our room..

Once we finally got to leave, the building outside looked too cool to not snap a shot of..

as did the ambulance turn around parking area..

We did get to stop by the kids' grandparents for a little bit to pick up a Halloween goodie bag for each of them.. that was at

Shortly there after we came home, bathed the kids, and put them to bed.
I am feeling a little better now .. Cole is acting like his same little ornery self .. and I love it.
His follow up appt and EEG .. or is it EKG? .. The brain scan one .. is scheduled for Friday, the 2nd at 10:30 AM .. so, expect another update then.
Hope you all had a better Halloween than us. Happy November!
