So. My review of the movie Twilight.
Let me start by saying.. If you have NOT read the book yet, don't. Go ahead and watch the movie first. Once you do and aren't sure wtf it's supposed to be about, read the book.
For those of you who have read the book, be prepared to be disappointed. Not only was the acting sub-par, the storyline was so distorted it hardly portrayed the book correctly. Yes, it took snippets from the book and threw them in the movie; Yes, they used the same characters; Yes, they "touched base" with "main" parts of the book; But, no, it was not executed very well at all. I understand how much longer it would have been if they put more detail into some parts but I do think they could have done without quite a bit of it to focus more on important parts.
Anyhow .. On my 5 star scale *****, I only give it a *. I honestly don't think I'd have known what they were trying to get across had I not read the book before hand.
I'm sure Robert Pattinson is a hottie to most, not really my type, but seriously, his looks alone was not what the book was about, it is what the movie is about, though. So, those of you that are going to see the movie strictly to ogle him.. you won't be disappointed.
