Hello, again

Wow. It's been over a month since I've updated. Shame on me. Sorry about that. Any of you that actually still read this thing haha

Well I guess I really haven't updated because there isn't much going on to report on. Normal family drama, friend drama and people I barely know drama.

The kids are both doing well. Cole will be seeing his neurologist for his first update after starting the Keppra, and he's still doing really well on it. I'm going to see if we can switch to pills or some way to only have to take it once a day if possible. I have a feeling we'll be sticking with twice a day, though. Oh well. It's working, I won't complain. As much as I hate the idea of relying on medication to keep Cole well I'd much rather him be medicated than go back into having seizures for literally days on end. Fuck. That. My baby boy doesn't need to go through that.
Miss Mehkaelie is also doing well. She's still doing extremely well in school. A little too well, actually. She's finishing her work way too early and even her extra 2nd and 3rd grade work she's given. Then she has nothing to do so she starts talking to people. Oops. I had to give her the "it's not fair to the other students if you're talking and they're not able to concentrate on their work" speech. She understood and has started taking a book with her to school so if she finishes everything she can just start reading. I'm glad. The teacher's glad. It's all going well now.
And speaking of school we only have 13 days left. Wow. Less than two weeks and then it's summer break. YAY! I'm excited about it haha Not that we have anything planned for this summer, I just think it will be good to actually get to not worry about doing anything. I miss that lol I'm sure within a few weeks I'll be so bored of not doing anything, though.

We've been having a lot of thunderstorms and just rain lately. I HAVE LOVED IT. I can not even tell you how much I've loved it. I've also needed it. I always feel better when it rains and there has been too much drama to deal with lately. Normal drama, like I said, but just over abundances of it. I'm going to be really sad when the summer really takes over and the only thing raining down is sunshine. It looks pretty in pictures but I'd prefer it to just rain all year. Yes, I realize I need to just move to Washington or Oregon.

What else.. Hrm. Nothing .. Wow this was a boring post. haha
